To honor the birth anniversary (1827) of Jyotirao Govindrao Phule, a pioneering Indian social reformer, thinker, and anti-caste activist from Maharashtra. He championed women's education, equality for lower castes, and social justice, founding the first girls' school in Pune in 1848.
