Narak Chaturdashi : A ritualistic holy bath taken before sunrise using ubtan to wash away sins, ward off poverty, and enhance physical radiance (hence called Roop Chaudas). Victory of Light: Commemorates Lord Krishna and Goddess Satyabhama vanquishing the demon Narakasura, liberating 16,100 captive women. Ganesh & Lakshmi Puja: Lord Ganesha (remover of obstacles) and Goddess Lakshmi (bringer of prosperity) are worshiped together alongside Lord Kubera (treasurer of wealth). Lighting of Diyas: Traditional clay diyas filled with ghee or oil are placed across the entire house, specifically at entryways, to guide the goddess into the home.
